Bio
River Denys Mountain Road trail follows an old settlement road up into the River Denys Mountain area. The road is generally in decent shape, but often muddy during the wet seasons. There are lots of snow mobile signs on this trail, as that is one of the more common uses for it. At the 4km junction, keep to the right to make it to the Chapel (this is well signed). There is a bronze plaque at the church which tells the story of the original settlers.
Directions
From the Canso Causeway, follow Highway 105 towards Sydney. Turn left onto the dirt road called River Denys Mountain Road. Park without blocking the intersection which you will see shortly after turning on to the dirt road.
