Bio
The Kellys Mountain trail takes you right over the top of Kelly’s Mountain and offers nice views of Seal Island bridge and various forest types. At the first fork in the road, going right will lead you down to quite a few old settler foundations, left further up the mountain. At the end, there is brook to cross. Retrace steps to return.
Directions
New Harris Rd is right after the Seal Island bridge. Follow that road just past the Dexter lot and there is a gated road leading up into the mountain. Park along the road, the trail begins at the gate.

Nice trail but a little hard to find. There are lots of branches to explore. Ruins of small buildings present at the lower end of the trail.
The trail head isn’t up the guary road, it’s an ankle breaker,go another 1/4 km to find the better trail. (Beautiful trail)
