Hiked this trail in 2015, it was not kept up, what a shame, it was once a lovely trail. Hope it gets fixed up, would love to hike it again.
Definitely not maintained anymore but nice views and looks like ATVs must use it as not in horrible condition.
As of June 13/21 this trail is hardly a trail. Everything is completly over grown and after walking 1.5 – 2km in , you dont even know where to go as the trail is all grown in. Such a.shame…looks like a beautiful area.
Haven’t been in a while but will check it out this year (2024). I’ve been told the trail is no longer serviced which is a shame – it had panels with information about the nature and history of the area as well as boardwalks over the more swampy areas. The small pond at the beginning of the trail is still stocked yearly with rainbow and speckled trout as well as open year round for fishing. Will update on conditions after visiting the area.
