Bio

The Coastal trail hugs the Atlantic shoreline and there are 3 fairly lengthy cobblestone beaches which must be crossed on this trek. It is possible to start on either end of the trail, and the Jigging Cove trail meets this trail and offers another starting point.

Directions
Blackrock Trailhead: From Ingonish, head past the Broadcove Campground and turn right at the Black Brook beach turn off. Turn left at the stop sign and you will see the trailhead shortly.

Halfway Brook Trailhead: Keep driving past the entrance to the Black Brook beach eventually see a parking lot on the left Halfway Brook. Park there and walk across the street. You can find the trailhead just up from that parking lot.
