Did the trail yesterday and would recommend it for the great views. Trail is level once past the initial rise, and easy to walk. Would not take young children on it due to the steep drops along the entire trail and erosion near the edge in some areas. Trail was 7.5 km to the end where flag pole was. We had cell service the entire hike. The trail is open and windswept. Even though it was a sunny day, it was cooler than the temperature alone would dictate. An extra layer to add/remove would be good to ensure comfort.
where did you park ?…hoping to do trail soon…is there a sign
I hiked this trail, the first bit isnt bad. Very steep, my dog actually slipped and fell off a cliff here, broke 2 legs requiring extensive surgery. I bought a hiking book which went into detail about how this hike is unmanaged and no longer considered safe. It’s definitely hikeable for experienced adults but be safe!
